The Importance of Teaching Sprints
Tylos is a school of faith it's a church and Wales school so we have something called the mission that is front and center of everything we do. As part of that mission we want to develop a community of learning formation and flourishing which is exactly what curriculum for Wales is all about. We've looked at quite a lot of work from Simon Breaksbyer and he writes about agile leadership and something called teaching sprints. A research base can be the starting point for that practice makes progress, says Tylos' headteacher. Krikland for Wales is a bit like couch to 5k that's what we're doing," she adds.
