How to Build Knowledge Around Caste in the United States
One of the most you know landmark works that we've done is a survey about caste in the United States which got committed. It was so hard I cannot tell you how hard it was to do this survey because at the time, nobody would entertain cast oppressed people sharing their discrimination. We funded it through our credit cards and we had a network of volunteers that helped us all across the country. There were even orgs that went into existential crisis if they released the data.
