The Benefits of Narrative History

I want to ask you about the history of the British East India Company. I think there are very few ideas outside high science, which can't be actually conveyed very well by prose. And so while I certainly write, admire, and like narrative history, I try and hide away into its secret stow away in chapters. But the kind of history I like to read is well-written, well-researched, multilingual narrative history.
