Jade's Defense Strategy in the Stangulation Trial

Some people thought Jade deserved leniency because of the ordeal that she had been through or what Tom had done to her. She could have gone with a different strategy according to a defense attorney I spoke with. The actual pressure on the carotids and the trachea has to be at least four minutes. And in that case, Jade would have been eligible just to know of a sentence of three, six or 11 years.
