Bart's Categorization of Ethics

Bart's categorization of these chapters, and that's chapters 12 to 13, in terms of chiasm is very much in the domain of New Testament scholarly interests. Bart actually speaks of affinities with the ethics of Kant in this section. And part of the argumentation in these chapters on ethics encodes Israel, Pharisees, religion, with themes of moralism, self-assertiveness,. which paves the way for his Lutheran account of works of law in epistemological terms.
