Most AI models are learning from the vast amount of information that's available on the web, how can you teach them these sort of more nebulous ideas? In one research project, we build collection of these rules of thumbs about social norms. You know, in general, don't do this or is this good or bad and then train the model to learn from that. And the end result is that the model is able to learn considerably, if the learning procedure is focused directly on it. So it's actually a bigger deal than you think. Common sense locks into every corner of our life.
