Is Christianity a Part of the Ancient Philosophy?

Christian writings should be seen as being part of the ancient philosophical tradition. The Fathers were well educated and wrote for a well educated audience. They wanted to show their faith was equal, or rather superior, to intellectually refined pagan systems like Stoicism and Platonism.
