Ron Parker is now the working COO for Jose Andres restaurant group. He started out as a bellhop and then Cook and Chef before becoming an executive. "I'm always, you know, when you're in operations and when you come from the kitchen, I don't think that that ever leaves you," he says. The industry continues to harder; it was hard before COVID gets much harder now.
