In his books, in always talks about the a personal authority and authenticity. Ah, and that sense of him being comfortable in his own skin and his path gave me permission to maybe i can do that too. That acceptance of our suffering is something that i learned in my analysis. And he's real clear that that will involve suffering, but that will also provide meaning.Ah, and that makes it worth while. The journey is our home. One of his quotes just really resonated with me, and still does. I don't have to be like him. I want to be like me.
