The Malay's Over LA
LZ Granderson: I get the sense that there's this Malay's over LA. LZ: The lack of a middle class economy for 30 years has really taken its toll on LA. He says it does make me kind of sad that Mike Davis isn't around to explain just how awful dystopian the current situation is because city courts was a pretty accurate reflection of previous dystopian period in LA. lz: It took a long time for that to develop in LA, but I think we're finally here.
