Youth in Mental Health During the Pandemic
The number of high school students who reported feelings of sadness or hopelessness increased by 40% in just one decade from 2009 to 2019. And we're now hearing more and more about something, a word that I think was new or maybe even foreign to some of us, the idea of suicide ideation. You know, that people who don't act on it are thinking about it. It's animating their thoughts. What is all of this done to our mental health collectively but particularly for young people?
