The Importance of Delays in Video Meetings

Digital body language has taken us back to pre school, where there are norms that allow us to hear different voices. Tools like close captioning is allowing us to make sure weare not being biased to voice or accent pitch as well. Even tiny delays mean that we can't time our responses as accurately as we do in conversation and we can crash the other person. One of the key things we must do due to this delay is to remember to never get emotionally highjack - especially when we're using digital body language.
