The first Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards. It lost to the Hurt Locker, directed by Cameron's former wife Catherine Bigelow. I think you will probably not have an Infer Best Picture. This is a really strong, critical reception thus far. And it's going to crush at the box office.
