The Consumer Price Index Report this morning showed inflation rose a half percent in January slightly higher than economists were expecting. We are seeing this methodical easing seventh month in a row. Some of the less economically sensitive components of CPI finally reacting to the first of the rate cuts, and it's been several months since that has happened.
