There are so many connections between frankenstein and the climae crisis that we find ourselves to day in there. There is actually a field of study called solar jew engineering that is basically trying to replicate the effects of the volcano that cooled the planet during shelley's writing of the book. We have geo engineered our planet, inadvertently, to the point where we've increased global temperatures more than a degree celsius in a flicker of a second. It's far better just not to make the mess in the first place.
