The Chancellor's Phone in on Budget Day Before

He didn't get any benefit from this spring statement, at all, politically, i don't think. It was quite interesting when he came into do my show for forty five minutes. That's the first time a chancellor has done a phone in on budget day before. And it was one of those things where you kind of think, well, what should i do here? But i had about, i'd o know, nine minutes at the beginning where it was just him and me. I think i did hold him to account, but because i don't shout, because i'm not rude, obviously it was a really soft interview.
