How Do You Get People to Talk About Ships That They've Never Talked About?

The most frustrating thing for me is when i hear a guest say things that they've said time and time again on other pie casts, on mine. And how do you break them out of that comfort level and get them to talk about ship that they may not necessarily even want to talk about sometimes, or haven't even talked about in public?
