i wonder how you want to help us make sense of the founding era. Is it too simplisitic to say that it ends with a clash between the pro property federalists and the pro farmer democratic republicans? Or does the debate over the national bank really calcify the camps in ways that pit the pro and anti galetarian constitution people against each other? i would just counsel a little bit of hesitancy f im deriving arguments from the past as if they're completely relevant to day. Without thinking these things through.
