Introduction

Last week we established that cities started appearing in mesopotamia, beginning with the emergence of erido. High populations of working class individuals kept the day to day running of the city states in a somewhat collectivist fas. The acadians were an ethnically distinct group of people from the north of mesopotamia who had their eye on their sumerian neighbors in the south. It appears they did not speak to each other in the same language as their sumerIAN neighbors to the south.
