Is Section 230 Protecting Algorithmic Recommendations?

This is the first time this section of law has come before the Court. Will Duffield: I think we're probably more likely than not to get a good ruling or for the Court to recognize that Section 230 also protects Algorithmic recommendation. But even small footnotes, paragraphs, throwaway lines can do a lot of damage or really shake things up when it's the first time the Court has ruled on this because anything they say will supplant lower court precedent.
