The Force of Gravity Is a Non-Renormalizable Force
Gravity seems to be a non-renormalizable force, at least if we consider things that are point-like. A single photon or electron shouldn't be able to exert an infinite gravitational force. In string theory, the fundamental objects that are found in our universe are not point-like particles. Instead, they're objects with a finite spatial extent.
