The Great Sotheby's Sale in 1988
It's kind of surreal to listen to everybody speaking because the people that you're talking about tomorrow Lucy in Victoria like Victor Soy, Aquarium, Boris Grubinchikov, Ilya Kabakov, these were all people I knew in 1982. And Natasha, do you remember that Great Sotheby's sale because it was also a bit of a cultural moment in 1988 and that sense that there was potential of a new world opening up but of course it was before the collapse of the Soviet Union.
