Capitalism Is the Base
Capitalism and society are both constantly moving. They have this dynamic, a tension between the two. We're now living in what is often referred to as late capitalism. Now we're starting to see capitalism itself bump up against some of its contradictions. And so it's very difficult for me to imagine a way where capitalism survives for the next 500 years.
