The Soviet Intervention in Afghanistan

i think most people on the left know the legacy of the c i a and the us. Propping up what we call the mujahaden, which eventually fractured in one of the fact s off what we calld the muja hadin,. Then, 20 years later, invaded to fight. And we just recently, ha, the us. Just recently pulled out of afghanistan. So i think there's a general understanding of that trajectory from the soviet intervention into Afghanistan. But the intervention as a very complicated thing, and i think a lot of people on theleft have a very underdeveloped understanding of all of the actors that were operating during this conflict.
