The Importance of Consistency in Annual Reports
In order for anyone to form a real opinion on any business, consistency and comparability of disclosure or time is the first criteria. Indian management disclosures and analysis is not very good. It has been getting better recently in some companies, which is generally very poor. So all the information you have to collect is basically from the financials and audited footnotes,. And then do the analysis yourself to find out what's happening, what trends are emerging.
