Reflections of a Battleship Sailor

The USS Nevada was the only battleship at Pearl Harbor that was able to get underway during the Japanese attack. The ship had eight twin-barreled five-inch, 38-second-ary battery guns on board when it fought in World War II. "We're at the endgame of the greatest generation, and I've learned it," says author Ed McCaffery.
