Is There a Mature Development Challenge in Field Hockey?

I was a late mature and meant that the only way to compete with people who were just athletically greater than you was to be able to coordinate things. The problem I think often with that is, and I often see this sometimes with young players who were promoted in my sport - field hockey. When they get more time to be matched against individuals who have a similar level of maturational level, then they can genuinely begin to express themselves in an entirely different way. That came through it for memory in the research you did with the Premier League.
