The Simpler the Better

For the typical retail investor, they want to keep it simple. So i think the jack bogle is exactly right on that point, and the simpler the better. There are certainly many things that can be made relatively simple, like diversification,. index investing and so on. But if you're engaging in a much more complicated financial strategy, such as managing risks of a pharmasutical company, then you really do need to have more sophisticated tools. You've got to pick the right tool for the right job.
