The Zengakurin Movement in Japan

The failure of the boond led Zengakurin to stop the security treaty from being ratified. The student movement looked due to this fragmentation to be on the ropes, its leadership was divided and student activism itself was very unpopular. After all, revolution and radicalism are much more appealing when you don't have very much to your name and it feels like there's nowhere to go but up.
