The Universe Is Always Changing, Isn't It?
One of the really interesting things about the universe to me, is that, as you said, it's always changing. Over cosmological time scales, over hundreds of millions or billions of years, these galaxies change by a lot. The individual galaxies have like a life cycle. In their early years, they haven't made a lot of stars yet, so is lot of gas and dust. They get a black hole at the centre pretty quickly, and that black hole basely lights up because so much gas and dust falls into it. It heats up, starts glowing, s you get qua sars and what are called active galactic nuclei. And then a galaxy like once it's
