Gordon cummins was a member of the royal air force. He had been drinking with other cadets at a pub prior to his alleged attack on mary heywood. His gas mask and haversack were found in regent's park after he broke curfew by sneaking into his living quarters. Cummins denied attacking mary, saying that she must have confused him with another airman who was attempting to frame him. A week later evelyn hamilton was mu in a bomb shelter less than half a mile away. The four time black out ripper has now been identified as gordon cummins.
