i have really been pleasantly surprised in the last ten years by how many i have really liked these. I think of them as ne westerns. They take place in the nineteenth century in the quilco the frontier. And they are meant to challenge our comfort with genros tropes, and sort of like would make us rethink how we view people of those hysterical eires. Itis actually an exploration of ina, the toll taken by the self sufficiency that we so associate with the western.
