Garry says he's on board with stopping a legal logging, but he wants alternatives. Logging exploits communities and some provinces feel there is no choice other than the meagre amount of money they earn from giving up their forest. Garry wants to see wealthier countries to put their money where their mouth is and provide financial incentives for less wealthy developing nations. Inevitably, carbon trade is likely to come up in any conversation surrounding climate change. Rachel rachel feels that introducing them has further comodified forests which runs the risk of perpetuating the many risks posed by deforestation.
