I Love the Human Lens on the Past
I think it has been definitely overstated just going back to opening conversation about the canceling of Christmas. It is a famous thing about this period that it was the view of the Puritans that the kind of traditional festivals of the church year which had grown up through the Middle Ages needed to be done away with because they have no biblical basis. And actually, you know, what's really interesting about when you look at the granularity of this period was something like the Christmas point. The round heads were right but repulsive I think it goes.
