The Righteous Walk in the Way of the Lord, but Destruction to the Evil Doers

In verse 29, we are told that the way of the lord is a stronghold to the blameless, but destruction to evil doers. The same establishment of the righteous within the land is also related to the establishment of their speech. As the mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom what is within their hearts, they will be established. Meanwhile, the perverse tongue will be cut off from the land,. Just as the wicked are cut off their speech, their lies will be silenced. In just a little while, the wicked shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
