The Probability of the Top Card and the Bottom Card
If you know that the top card is a certain or, then what are the odds that the other one's the same color? All of a sudden it becomes like, ok, don't think about red and black, but just think about a color. So now all you have to do is analyze what's left in your deck. And they say, well, if the top one is color a, then there are 51 cards left. 26 of them are not that color, and so 25 of them are. So only just slightly less than a half.
