Rita's Journey Through the Hell of Albuquerque
I just felt that sensitivity and that understanding of the culture, which is beautiful. However, it's framed, I would like to see more of, of Rita. And this book is talking about death. It's talking about the things you're not supposed to talk about as a Dene person but it doesn't once go into the realm of that. In a way that Dark Winds doesn't feel at all, it feels very performative actually. Even while she's still talking about these things. That's a fine line to walk to be able to do that.
