How to Diagnose Emgus

We don't screen for emgus, so if people are asymptomatic and they're not tested for it, they're just walking around doing their thing. There's a 1 percent risk of progression from M-GUS to myeloma per year. Memorizing the serum M protein being less than 3 grams per deciliter is important.
