The key to attachment is creating an environment in which children feel safe, loved and unconditionally accepted. Children need different things at different developmental stages due to their cognitive capabilities as well as their psycho social needs. We want to help them create a sense of resilience, but a knowledge that we are going to be that safe place hat they can come back to.
