Stage Manager
The Mac OS X version of stage manager lets you use up to six recents at once. You can resize your windows however you want, even if it's a 27 inch screen. The destop icons by default disappear - but they're still there, just not visible. It's perfect for someone who uses a lot of aps, which i do.
