The Importance of Not Repeating the Mistakes of the Past

LZ Granderson says he's sympathetic to the concern that intermarrying is bad for the church. LZ: The motivation here, the desire on their part, not to repeat the mistakes of their forefathers is a great thing. If you're an Israelite man, you are not prohibited from marrying outside of Israel. There are certain non-Israelite women that you can marry. However, there were prohibitions against marrying some and the ones thatyou were prohibited from marrying were those who were those Indigenous inhabitants of Canaan. All I have to say it's not as kind of a black and white issue as some might think that it is.
