The Different Perspectives of Emigrants in America

I don't think that the American dream is there, to be honest. In fact, a lot of immigrants are still seeing America as the one place where you can go and actually make something of yourself. That's my perspective. It's probably the perspective many people around me will share too. I haven't had any direct experiences with police brutality but have been concerned about some of the stuff that's been in the media. But our experience so far has also felt like we're welcomed by most neighbors who don't look like us.
