There are social differences between boys and girls and men and women but there are also some really compelling ideas for why there might be a difference biologically. Women essentially have a backup copy of all the genes on the x chromosome which means that color blindness is much more frequent in men than it is in women. Male birds with this backup copy because they got the same chromosome twice do you seem to live longer in general than female birds do. There's another fascinating line of biological evidence which is the mitochondria we've already mentioned these the things that generate the energy in your cells. The mitochondrial genetic material are the only part of the cell that has its own DNA, inherited from your mum or dad. So
