The Darwinian Argument for the Second Meaning of Evolution
Francis Collins wrote a book in 2006, the language of God. He made some arguments for the second meaning of evolution based on non-functionality of certain genes that were present with us and present with chimps. In fact, those non-protein coding regions of the genome are not junk at all, but they function much like an operating system in a computer.
