The Only Living Thing You Eat
God wasn't supposed to do any great good works in the garden. He was just supposed to pick the right food off the dinner table. Food is a symbol of the fact that we don't have life in ourselves. The Holy Spirit works through this dead food to give me life. That's why we pray. Lord bless this food to the nourishment of our bodies.
