The Circle of Neighborliness
If Israel had not kept listening, neighbor would have meant only male shareholders in the land owning company of Israel. But to keep listening means that the circle of neighborliness is always expanded more inclusive and more radical. And if you listen longer, the Sabbath will become the jubilee year in which everybody goes to go and collect $200. The amazing thing about that regulation in Deuteronomy 15 is that Moses uses six absolute infinities to make it intense.
