It does have many connections with neo-plate and it's them unfortunately for us most of the initial original Neo-plate and its practices are hinted at but completely lost so we don't even know if they really practiced. One of the first Sufist neo-platonic connections I saw was the oh I shouldn't know I'm sorry I'm jumping aheadI want to make clear is really the connection with Islam because it is an Islamic so it is Islamic mysticism and that current is always there. From your book I got the understanding that there was many sort of sex and parts of it which became almost more universal almost in a just all-encompassing religion type idea.
