Is the Reporting Step Kicking In?
The diagnostic device that the sampleis run through, a not only provides the diagnosis to the care provider, but also automates the reporting step. If something passes a given threshold for how much we might be concerned about it, then it can automatically notify relevant public health authorities at the local, state, federal or international levels. Right now, that response capability is largely the responsibility of of governments, and i imagine that will be the case for the oseable future. But there are also companies that are working on providing a, not just advice to governments on response capabilities, but also a providing some of those capabilities themselves.
