Babur's Battle of Panipat

Babur made camp near Panipat about 40 miles north of Delhi and prepared to face Ibrahim Lodi. This was Babur's fifth attack on India, but his first time facing Ibrahim Lodi or going against the Delhi Sultanate. He also received intelligence that Hamid Khan, the provost of Hisar, was coming to fight him as well. On Friday, April 20, 1526, Ibrahim Lodi's army marched out to attack Babur.
