i was asked to develop the leadership decision making compass that hank palson the co at the time, ran everyone in the firm. So i just learned a tongue. The conviction was that our development is leaders or 70 % of it happens through experiential education and 20% via coaching. And so is a really great crashed course into that 70 percent and how to be intentional about it,. both for others as well as for my own career.

Scott Belsky is currently the chief product officer at Adobe, as well as a venture partner at the world renowned venture capital firm, Benchmark. He began his career at Goldman Sachs before leaving to found Behance, which he later sold to Adobe for $115 million. Scott is also the best selling author of Making Ideas Happen and The Messy Middle, two of my all time favorite books. And he's an investor in an incredible roster of companies, including Uber, Pinterest, Airtable, Carta and Sweetgreen.
